A great stick-to-your-ribs recipe by MawHawg!! You are going to love this one!!!


Prep/Cooking Time: 40 minutes

Yields: 3 Man Size Bowls

1 lb. pork shoulder meat, chopped small

1 clove garlic, minced

1 small yellow onion, chopped

1 tablespoon canola oil

1 tablespoons Grandma's chili powder

1 teaspoon cumin

1 can Nacho Cheese Soup

1 cup beer

1 8 oz. can diced tomatoes

1 15 1/2 oz can dark red kidney beans

In 3 quart non-stick sauce pan, add pork, garlic and onion with oil. Brown over medium high until pork is no long pink.

Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.. Reduce to low and simmer covered, occasionally stirring, for 30 minutes...

May be served over hot rice if desired or served plain with corn bread.

Note: If Nacho Cheese Soup is not available, use a large jar of Nacho Cheese Whiz, but stir more frequently so cheese will not burn while cooking.
