This is one of my favorite meals!! I love pasta especially with clam sauce.. Excellent recipe, MawHawg!!
FETTUCCINI w/CLAM SAUCE
Prep/Cooking Time: 15-20 minutes
Yields: 3-4 servings
1/2 lb. spinach fettuccini noodles, cooked according to page instructions ( plain fettuccini may be used)
2 6 1/2 oz. cans chopped clams
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup white wine (may subsitute vegetable broth)
1 can reduced fat cream of mushroom soup
1/3 cup parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon dried crushed basil
In 2 quart non-stick sauce pan, add clams with juice, wine and garlic.. Bring to a boil for approximately 6 minutes to reduce liquid to half..
Add soup, basil and cheese.. Stir and simmer 3-5 minutes until totally liquified. Ladel over drained fettuccini..
Recommended side servings:
Fresh steamed assortment of zuccini, crook neck squashes or baby carrots. Fresh loaf of garlic/cheese bread.
